Glory ch.11

     Them meeting again should have been under different circumstances, but sadly they weren’t. Luffy looked at his sister seeing her differently, no longer the bright eyed head strong girl he knew, but a sad breaking from of her. Seeing this he held her close shaking which caused her to shake too. The crews watched in silence at the scene of the siblings shaking in each others arms. (Name) slowly and quietly let her tears fall down like rivers, while Luffy hugged her tighter biting his lip. Who knew that Portgas D. Ace was going to be executed at mid-day tomorrow.

     Blinking at his chains he smiles softly thinking about how this had happen to himself. “I am just like him… the late pirate king.” Sighing he waits for his time to come the next day, but looks at the cell when a familiar face shows up. “Hey old man y’all finally caught me,” chuckling at him Ace smirks sadly at his somewhat old friend. “You really are a idiot boy,” sighing Garp looks at the young man sadly, “I have no time for pirates nor do I care, but for family that is a different thing.” Tears now were clearly seen in the dim light of the cell hallway as Ace watched his old man cry openly. Looking down he smiles sadly, “Will she be mad?” Garp shakes his head sighing at him, “Did you make a promise to her about the dream? If so you will not only break yourself and Luffy, but her heart as well.” Chuckling dryly the freckled face boy looks at the Vice Admiral, “She really does look up to me doesn’t she…” “I would hope so since you two were always together when you were younger. When I took  her away she cried for all of you, but your name was the longest and loudest Ace.” Looking directly into Garp’s eyes he smiles small, “Then tell her I love her.”
